“Fun All Day Activity!”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

I recently was able to take a tour of the North Carolina Battleship. It was amazing. I went for the first time with my boyfriend and we were on the ship for three hours, and we still did not finish the tour. This is a fun activity for families and kids. They give a military discount as well. It was hot that day so it was hot on the ship but they had fans throughout to help cool off everyone.!

“A big "little" piece of history!”
Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

Can't miss the opportunity to visit one of the great ships from WWII! Areas are well marked and nice to be able to meander around at your own pace. Intro video interesting and gets you in the mood to learn some history. Military discount a plus- you'll see plenty of red wristbands paying respect to our brothers and sisters in arms. A must see if you are in Wilmington even for a day!

“love to climb stairs?”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

First thing we did when we arrived in Carolina Beach was visit the battleship. WOW. We spent 2 1/2 hours exploring the ship. There are several decks to check out. You see where the sailors slept, worked, and relaxed. Lots of photo opportunities. Near downtown Old Wilmington.

“A Must See”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

As a graduate of the Naval Academy, hubby had to make the trip to see the ship once again. It's well restored and a treat to tour.

“History on water”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

My husband toured the boat and enjoyed it very much. He was amazed at the complexity of the ship below decks--it was like a small city, with all the necessary services provided for the men who lived on board.

A worthwhile hour-plus visit.
