A great way to learn about World War II. My boys loved exploring the rooms, climbing up and down the stairs/ladders, and running around on the deck.

I am keen on history and that was the reason for visiting battleship North Carolina. It was very impressive and exciting for me to touch that part of modern history.

be prepared to do a lot of climbing up and down narrow stairways in the below decks. this was an interesting visit as some US Airforce para rescuers were training---- zip-lining from way up on the ship down to the deck. kind of wish I could have done it myself.

my son and I spent a long weekend in wilmo and really enjoyed the ship. you can pace yourself and easily spend hours looking at the guns and the quarters of the service people who manned this giant.
