A clean, well located hotel with in walking distance of the down town areas of Wilmington. You park right in front of the hotel, and don't pay extra for parking. The staff was very helpful and you have a nice view of the river from the rooms. This is our 4th stay over the past few years at this same Inn, and it will not be our last. The breakfast wasn't as good as several other Inns that we have stayed at, but it was adequate.

This is a great location. The hotel is quite, but within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms over looking the river. Can see the NC Battle ship from you room. Very safe, can walk the docks of the river to down town.

Why pay Hilton prices when you can stay in this amazingly well-designed hotel that blends seamlessly into the old railroad station adjacent to the historic district. The rooms are not large, but who cares when your window overlooks the Cape Fear River. The complimentary breakfast is the usual muck, but a short walk.will take you into the historic district with plenty of tasty choices. The staff were extremely helpful.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a river view. Third floor is especially good.

You can't beat the location! This is a hidden gem at the wide open north end of Wilmington's River Walk. Every room has a river view over the marshlands. Parking is free and you never need to use your car as it's only a ten minute easy walk to all the downtown shops and eateries. The hotel is very quite and guests (mostly middle aged adults) appeared to respect this aspect of shared residence. Suites are clean and comfortable in size having a seperate sleeping room with good bedding. Bathrooms are small, but do come with walk in rain showers. Staff is highly professional and very personable. Price is very reasonable when compared to the charges at some of the nearby hotels. It's an older style building with open air outdoor walkways to your rooms, with an elevator to all floors. The one drawback was that it's time to shampoo the carpets and air-out the drapes, however as we were checking out, new furniture (casegoods) was being delivered for all the rooms so management is definitely taking care of and upgrading the property. I would definintely stay there again!

Room Tip: Corners have the largest suites, but all rooms have a lovely river view.

I don't normally stay at the Best Western but was pleasantly surprised by this location. It is right where we wanted to be Wilmington and on the River Walk. You can just walk downstairs and through the gate and you are there. The staff is wonderful, I don't know the young man's name but when we came he is on the night shift, brown hair and very personable. He was able to tell us all sorts of information about the location, history of the train station and things to do while in town. The beds where comfortable, door could be thicker you can hear people if they are loud as they walk by. Overall it was good value, clean, in a great location and close to too many things to mention.

This was a suitable hotel. It was clean, quiet, comfortable. The hotel itself doesn't go above and beyond to impress though. The breakfast wasn't that great, we had issues with our TV, the water pressure wasn't that great, the exercise room was a joke, air conditioner was noisy, and they don't have a pool. Don't get me wrong, the staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself was just basic. You might expect something a little more for the price and from a hotel in such a GREAT location!! Positives: All rooms have a view of the river, the hotel is right on the boardwalk and is within walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants that are right on the water. And again, the staff was great and they tried to do what they could.

I'm sorry if the hotel did not meet your expectations. We take great pride in our hotel and the staff tries to accommodate and make sure every guest has a great experience. I would hope that if reported to the front desk that your TV issue had been addressed by our maintenance staff immediately. We have scheduled an upgrade to our cable service and we are very excited about the new options it will offer our guest. We hope you will come back and visit with us again.

Riverfront, pet-friendly excellent hotel. Room smaller but very comfortable for us and easily accessible for pets. Stay right downtown close to amenities and super views! Staff offered great info., and although not a lot of lawn space, plenty of great sidewalks for your pet, and the beaches just a few minutes down the road.
