We stayed here on New Year's Eve, it wasn't planned, we couldn't get a room at the beach. It is a beautiful hotel, right on Cape Fear River walking distance to bars, cafes and historical sites. You can spend 2-3 days here and still go to beach if you want. HIGHLY recommend.

Decided to stay at the rebranded Hilton on the riverfront. Very pleasant staff treatment at checking. DO NOT miss an opprtunity to have Grace at the bar fix you one of her takes on an Old Fashioned or the Staycation! She is talented and so knowledgeable. We decided to forgo dinner in the restaurant and came back and had dinner at the bar to continue our conversations and watch her create drinks for customers.

We spent the night celebrating our anniversary. Didn't want to drive home. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river. Everyone was so helpful. The only complaint would be that they could have a small refrigerator in the room.

There are no destination chargers available in downtown Wilmington. This hotel is in a great location and would be ideal if a destination charger were available. Please consider adding one - it's eco-friendly and a good business choice.

Why is vodka on the rocks $9.00 and a vodka martini $12.00, seems like they are "nickel and dime" folks
When asked the bar tender he looked at me like I was nuts and just said, "That's the way it is"
Very unfriendly, bad attitude
