A friend of ours had recommended Brasserie du Soleil to us, and was she ever spot on! We loved our dinner here! We always eat dinner in Wilmington the night before New Year's Eve, and always before, had eaten at Circa 1922 (a sister restaurant of Brasserie du Soleil), and really like that restaurant. But we decided to try this one, and we were so glad we did. We liked the atmosphere (lively, fun), the decor (tin ceiling, a "French" feel), the service, and mostly, the food, which was extremely good. Having been in France for several weeks this past November, we decided to try the crepes (which in France would be galettes, since these were savory, rather than sweet), and they were delicious! As was the steak with blue cheese. The side salads were also good and generous. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the restaurant charged an extra dollar for having our Manhattans up. Oh, well. We would definitely return, as we will to Circa 1922.
