Someone once said to me that the best bbq food is served off paper plates. This place took it to heart and it indeed serves up a mean meal - on polysterene plates. The portions were perhaps a little on the smaller side (I ordered a rib and bbq pork combo with beans and hush puppies) but delicious in every bite. This was probably the best barbecued pork we had tried in our time in Wilmington.
The clientele that night were a source of entertainment - a colorful mix of locals some of whom seemed to be regulars. Sticky seats and laminate tables are part of the experience, you'd be disappointed if you were expecting anything else.
This meal got us hooked onto barbecues. Really good eating memories!
