Had fried oysters which were perfect! The Brunswick Stew was a different take than my family's old time recipe, but very satisfying on a chilly day, Service was quick and friendly.

Ate a late Sunday brunch here in Nov. Apparently the place had been packed in the earlier hours and therefore the kitchen was out of quite a few of the regular menu items as well as the day's specials. This kinked our plans as our first two choices were not available. I had the "new" omelette of the day which was pretty good. Chicken, bacon, tomato, lettuce, cheddar, topped with guacamole and a side of French toast (yes that was a side item). My husband has a different egg dish that he said was only so-so. Coffee was NOT hot. I had the mango mimosa, which was pretty good. Our server was very friendly and told us that the place had been a mad-house just a little while earlier and to be glad that we had arrived late (well except for not having much menu left to serve).

Obviously it's a popular spot. I cannot speak to the dinner or regular lunch menu. I'd probably try something else before going back here.

While visiting Wilmington, we had lunch and dinner on separate days at this low-key restaurant. The salads, soups, and entrees were all fantastic. I had the chef's special for dinner: duck with a chili pomegranate sauce, served over risotto and asparagus. It was delicious! We would have had brunch there on Saturday, as well, but they don't open until 10am on the weekends, and we needed to eat a little earlier.

We walked in to the restaurant and a waitress was with us very soon after we were seated. Everyone working there was friendly and seemed like they were happy to be serving us. The food was good-tasting and not expensive. The restaurant was very neat yet informal and welcoming. Overall, it is a well-run establishment and delivers a great experience.

We're told that the Sunday brunch is really popular and can see why. Great basic breakfast dishes, served 'ala carte', with a choice of many side dishes (from chunky grits to fruit-laden yogurt). Large portions, so be prepared to take some home for the next day. Quick and attentive service.
