This was our first time at Thalian Hall and it was definitely a night to remember! The theatre has wonderful acoustics, the stage lighting, sets, costumes, etc. "nailed it", and the venue is small enough that we could see everything clearly. After seeing the production, we bought the DVD of the movie itself....I can honestly say that the local production of "Les Miserables" was far more enjoyable! Congratulations to the many talented folks who were part of this amazing production!

Thalian Hall is a true historic treasure, opened in 1858 and active as a performing arts theater since then. It was beautifully restored only a few years ago with historic accuracy. But even though it is a true "antique," the seats are comfy! From the weekly Cinematique art house films to the stage productions, everything at Thalian is top notch. Look for the description of the historic cannon roll, an original "special effect" built in the rafters!

This theater is beautiful. Went to see Les Miserables and the show was fabulous. The actors and actresses were every bit as good as the ones on Broadway.
