“Disgusting, STAY AWAY...Should be shut down.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

First room: Musty smell, air conditoner broken.
2nd room: killed 3 roaches in the first minute, smelled horrible, roach in the tub.
3rd room: bought a candle to hide the smell, pulled covers back, put my feet in bed and screamed in pain. Thought I had been bitten by a spider. Reached down, there was broken glass in the sheets, my foot was cut badly, blood everywhere. This is the hotel from hell. I left and went across the street to country Inn, finally, a decent hotel. "Quality" Inn, What a joke.

Room Tip: Go to another hotel, anywhere else.

Okay, where should I begin? We get there with our two small pets. We specifically went to a pet friendly hotel because we travel with our dogs. They are not Kangaroos, small dogs, lap sized. We have them crated when leaving the room. As soon as we get done unpacking the car and putting our belongings away, we get a call from the front desk stating we have pets (no kidding?!) and that is NOT one of the pet friendly rooms. I stated that we would move our items. The front desk agreed that instead of moving, we stay in this room as we know the rules regarding pets staying in the hotels. We left the room the next morning and crated the dogs, came back, room not cleaned and no towels. Complained to front desk, they said they would send someone right now which was pointless since my wife was taking a shower. I asked for towels enough for 3 people. Assuming this would not happen again, we did the same thing the next day and the room was cleaned, but enough towels for 1 person. My wife called to request more towels and was told "I'm too busy to help you right now!" by the desk clerk. Infuriated, I went to the desk and said this type of service is unacceptable. Next day, we went out, crated the dogs again. Came back, room not cleaned and towels THROWN into the room. Past the point of frustration, I went to the desk, now loaded for bear, I asked why the room was not cleaned? No answer. Saw one of the room attendants and she asked me if I was in room so and so. Stated I was and she said she was AFRAID of dogs and would not clean the room? HUH??? After speaking to the general manager on checkout day, he agreed to refund 20% of our stay and give us 50% off our next stay, and refund our pet fee. As of today, no refund of any sort. My wife just got off the phone with Hotels.com and finally got a refund. Would I ever even think about staying here again! NO WAY! One good point......coffee was good and breakfast was good. Other than that, think about another place.

Room Tip: Want a good room, go down the street to ANY other place!

It was move-in weekend for the college kids and after 8 different hotels were sold out we were stuck with this one. The room was very cramped and dirty. At around 4:00 AM!!! A pill head came banging on our door asking for money because "her husband was dying and needed gas money to take him to the hospital" Needless to say we didn't call the police because we had been downtown drinking and it was very late. We knew the drug addict would've been gone by the time to police got there. We gave her about 8$ to go away because 8$ is better than being robbed and possibly killed by a pill addicted 40 year old woman (and a man sitting ALIVE in the car parked outfront) She sped off faster than you can say "wtf just happened" I felt VERY UNSAFE. This hotel has NO SECURITY or CAMERAS IN THE PARKING LOT. If you're bringing your family, young children/whatever. I suggest you find a nicer safer hotel and stay OFF the ground level. Very scary. WILL NEVER BE STAYING IN A QI AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel is in a good location, the staff is very pleasant, but the room was just a little better than awful... Non-smoking room... yeah right, the odor of cigarettes was overwhelming as soon as we opened the door. The cleaning staff changed all the linens and sprayed their "ozone" spray, but it did little to improve it... The air conditioner was very noisy and always running. The room was well worn and in need of renovation... one of the worst rooms I've stayed in. The staff was very friendly and courteous, the breakfast was great, but the condition of the room was very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Oh yeah, they botched our bill too... we had two rooms on two different accounts, yet they both ended up charged to my card... Still gotta work that one out...

Used choice points for this stay so were not exactly sure of the price but it wasn't really worth 8000. We checked in with the night auditor Alicia. She was a doll!!! The young lady at the front desk who had to come and unlock the bathroom door we accidentally locked ourselves out of too was very nice and very prompt. The room appeared clean when we checked in, unfortunately the after using the restroom for a "simple go", the room developed a very unpleasant odor. That kind of turned us off from there. The breakfast was pretty good for continental. Management definitely tried their hardest to accommodate their guests with that aspect because there were a lot of good things on there. The decor was decent and the lobby was cute! Overall the stay was average but the service really pushed that over the edge.

We really loved the breakfast-everything from hot waffles, yogurt, cereal, cake, fruit, and muffins. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was plenty room for one night. I wouldn't stay a weekend here, as it isn't the nicest place-but the customer service was very accomadating

Went down for Memorial Day weekend and wanted something inexpensive. This place was fairly reasonably priced, but not really a place I would normally stay (bought blind on Hotwire). The room we had was recently renovated and wasn't terrible. There was a Corona beer bottle laying on its side behind the nightstand (with beer still in it). The parking lot get's kind of weird at night with different groups just hanging out. Didn't feel liike the safest place.
