My husband and I were greeted by a very friendly woman named Brenda. The Hampton Inn has the most warm and inviting lobby. The lobby is small, but tastefully decorated. There is a bar area off of the lobby and an area with tables and chairs where you can have the wonderful morning breakfast they offer. Outside there is a small little garden area with wrought iron chairs & tables with umbrellas, a few rocking chairs to relax in and a little outdoor sectional. Off of that area is a pool with a little bar that is opened Thurs-Sun, I believe.
There is plenty of parking here. It is about a 5 min drive to the beach. The staff was very friendly. Another woman working on Tuesday evening, helped us with directions to Historic downtown Wilmington. Explained how to get there and where to park. The room was nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean. They had Neutrogena products. Soap, shampoo and conditioner. I bring my own, but they were perfect for the hubby.
Nice, fluffy white towels. I was surprised as to how soft they were. There are many restaurants by this hotel and a Harris Teeters across the street that made great hoagies for the beach! I would highly recommend this hotel. I highly recommend Wrightsville. What a quaint little town!More
