Breakfast is horrible with stale danish, muffins and sour milk,and it cuts off at 9.00a.m.,if you leave your room after mid-day it will not be cleaned, maid leaves at 1.00p.m The.telephone ringer was not working, unable to receive calls from my wife, I was woken up at 7.00am to have the phone fixed. The sink was full of rust and the towels stink of smoke. Complained in person to the manager, Ashok Patel, his response was full of excuses, justifying the poor service without remorse.This hotel is a disgrace to Days Inn and the Wyndham Chain. I stayed in Wyndham properties before but this one has a dictator manager and the other employees have no say, if they talk on behalf of the guests and their services, they are history.

Dear A.s..Mr K:

Please let me begin by stating that I am sorry for all inconveniences you felt you experienced during your stay with us for one week. Myself, and my staff here at the Days Inn – Williamston, pride ourselves in ensuring that we treat all of our guests with fairness and hospitality.

Our franchise states we are to provide breakfast for at least 3 hours between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 am. We chose the time our breakfast begins based on the flow of guests that choose take advantage of our convenient continental breakfast bar. When we are busy, we do extend the time of our breakfast past 9:00 a.m., not to exceed 10:00 a.m. Each morning, the foods on our breakfast bar are freshly displayed for our guests to enjoy, free of charge, just as you did each morning of your stay and did not complain of any issues with your breakfast.

Our housekeeping staff is on duty for as long as it takes them to finish cleaning their rooms and longer if guests have certain requests that they have made us aware of. The one day [out of 7] you complained of housekeeping not servicing your room was the day that you had your Do Not Disturb sign on your room door. As you stated to the front desk, you left at 12:45 p.m. that day. The housekeeper that was assigned to the side of the property where you were staying left about 10 minutes later and she had already finished with all her rooms. Our laundry facility is located on the other side of the property; therefore, once the housekeeper prepared to end her shift by putting away her cart and other cleaning supplies, then gathered her belongings to get ready to go home, she would not have seen that you had removed the Do Not Disturb sign from your door. Our linens are washed and dried daily and none of our housekeeping staff smokes. The rooms surrounding our laundry facility are non-smoking rooms. You did not, at any of the time you were here, make us aware that your towels had an unpleasant odor of any kind.

We are currently in the beginning stages of updating our rooms and lobby; however this is a limited process in this slow economy. The day after you checked in and complained of the rusty sink in your room and offered us suggestions on how to remove the rust, we had maintenance take a look. Maintenance found that chemicals could not remove the rust and my desk manager offered to move to you another room of your choosing for the rest of the days left on your stay; but, you declined the offer. Once you realized there was an issue with not being able to hear your telephone ring causing you not to be able to receive calls, we acknowledged that as an inconvenience and apologized for the issue. The Night Auditor knew that you had a wake up call set for 7:45 a.m. and that you were not able to hear your phone ring. His shift ended at 7:00 a.m. that next morning, so he stayed here, off the clock, and went to your room to at the time you requested your wake up call and then gave you a replacement phone. All members of my staff are treated with fairness and kindness. We work together as a family unit to ensure our guests’ needs are met. Each person on staff, excluding any recent hires, has been here a minimum of 2 years to a maximum of 10 years [going on 11].

We would like to extend the offer to you to please reconsider a future stay with us and allow us to clear up any misunderstandings that occurred with your recent stay. Please contact the property directly at 252-792-4168 when booking your reservations and reference this review.

Customer Service Was fantastic & I will say they went above & Beyond when they could. Their website stated that the hotel had a business center when it did not but the mgr did help me print off my plane tickets anyway. The first room mattress had a hole/dent in it the size of a beach ball so I was moved to another room and the plugs were not great where I could not charge my electronics well at all the plugs were all loose. TV were no guide to see what on had to ask for something. But the customer service was friendly and helpful and clean.
