It really is an oasis in the middle of nowhere. You turn a corner and boom , this large place jumps out at you. Very authentic and fun. Was sad that a salad did not come with our prime rib dinner. Green stuff is important when you have all of that red meat. Other than that, it was great. To be fair, we did show up about 20 minutes prior to closing. They were pleasant and there were lots of locals there which is always a good sign right?

We tried to like it but just too hokey for us. The menu was very limited, poor, poor beer selection and absolutely no wine or liquor offered. I will say our waitress helped this from being completely miserable. In fairness, if you have little kids, like sweet tea and BBQ this could be the place for you. If you want a more romantic, adult meal I hear the Sunny Side Oyster Bar is the place to be. We went there first but they are closed on Sundays. I also hear they are one open in months that have an "r" in the them.

Such good food. Really good mushroom burger.

The people are ALWAYS top notch and extremely fun. Usually on top of things.

There can be quite a waiting line to get in but that's ok as there are lots of things to do, feed the fish, ride the train, play miniature golf, etc....

The food is really really expensive. Well, I shouldn't say all the food, I've only had burgers and salad, so the burgers and salad are very very expensive.

The seating is very open and noisy, but the food is excellent. I had the new Pecos Pork Chop, and it was absolutely cooked to perfection and very tasty. The salad bar is wonderful as well.

Unexpected find - great ribeye and loaded mashed potatoes. The waitresses show southern hospitality. The place is kept clean and the grounds are neat. They have a mini golf course and train. Take the family.
