“If you're into cheese...”

OK just so you understand because I didn't, you don't tour the cheese factory you just stand in a small room where you can look through a window at the factory floor where the cheese is being made. The store which is across the street has a large selection of cheeses reasonably priced along with fudge, jelly & a few different ciders. Don't go out of your way but worth it only if in the area.

“free family entertainment”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This is a fun shopping stop in the retail store and neat small factory to view. Check their web page for plant operating schedule. No cost and fun.

“fun stop”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

We didn't get to see cheese being made, but the video and pictures were informative. The kids (11 and 5) were entertained for a little while being able to look at the machines. The store has lots to offer - really good local wines, different cheeses, delightful fudge, tasty vegetable chips, and more. This was definitely worth the stop.

“Delcious fudge!”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

We came specifically for the fudge! The cheese is great, too, but it's a mountain tradition for our family to go to Smoky Mountain BBQ then come here for fudge to take back for dessert. It's delicious, especially the Snickers!

“Great fresh cheese at good prices”

A must stop for locally made cheese and butter in downtown W Jefferson. Reasonably priced and the store also carries local wines, preserves, jams etc.
