“Old Fashion Burgers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

Had a lunch meeting and the customer suggested Nicks. Had never been there but gave it a shot. We had burgers and hotdogs with fries. Then hamburger was very juicy and had good flavor. The fries were the old crinkle cut type. The fries needed a little more salt, but hey, thats a personal preference. Service was very friendly and the food was made to order and it did not take long to get it. The boss got the hotdogs and said they were very tasty. I will put this place on my list of places to eat,

“Something Special”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013 via mobile

If you like the kind of place that feels as comfortable as your old warnout pair of sneakers this is the spot.

Located in a little strip shopping area Nicks could go unnoticed but once you taste their hamburgers it will go unnoticed no more. A simple and pleasant place.

Milk shakes, fries, onion rings plus sweet potato fries to die for.

Nothing even close to fancy just very good.

“Best Burgers Around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

The restaurant its self is really small, it only has 12 to 14 tables located on the inside. There are a couple more located on the outside of the restaurant. The menu is very limited; burgers, hot dogs, chopped chicken, fries, shakes. But, the food and service are excellent. Everything is cooked when ordered, so it is always fresh. The burgers are the "old fashion" thin, fried on a griddle, tasty hunk of meat. No tasteless half of pound microwaved burgers here.

My wife and I eat there a couple of times a month, and have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered.

Nick's is located in a very small strip shopping center located on Old Highway 52 just north of Welcome NC. It is located directly across the street from Davidson Water, Inc (you are more apt to spot the Davidson Water building before you would see Nick's). Nick's is located on one end of the building, a Hungry Howie's Pizza is located on the other end.
