Small, nice but informal, this restaurant has a wine list that any Michelin three star would envy. Our food--local trout for my wife, Pasta with pesto, mushrooms and vegetables for me, was outstanding--as was the service. Highly recommend the unusual grilled romaine salad. A real find in this small resort town. Prices are gentle for the quality.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Waldorf Chicken: fresh sweet apple slices with dried cranberries in a lovely sauce. Also had fresh tomato slices from the chef's garden.
Our waiter was attentive without hovering. The atmosphere is friendly, not overly boisterous; probably not a good choice for young children or a group of teens.
We did feel sorry for others stopping in, hoping to enjoy a meal only to learn they were fully reserved.

Sat at the bar and watched the chef work-fun to watch! He was affable and shared his wonderful balsamic dressing recipe with us. Great food! Make sure you make reservations!

MAKE RESERVATIONS. My wife and I winged it on a Thursday figuring it wouldn't be too crowded but the place is tiny and was almost full but they squeezed us in. The food was delicious and all of the employees were very friendly. Very nice wine list and a few really great draft beers. I would recommend it to anyone.

We were quite pleased with this little restaurant in Downtown. They are open for dinner at 5 pm. It is located on a side street with parking located on the surrounding blocks.

The atmosphere is casual. Seating is not crowded.

A variety of foods from appetizers to desserts is available. The vegetarian selections are limited (one appetizer and salad) and only one vegetarian entree. However their seafood, beef and chicken choices were ample. They have a wonderful little humus that is served with bread. It was mush tastier than the over-processed items that can be found at other restaurants.

The pastas is made on site when the dish is ordered. My wife had the shitake mushroom pasta and I had the shrimp and grits. Both dishes have to be prepared correctly to be good and they did an excellent job.

The mushroom pasta had a pesto base and large pieces of mushroom. The flavors of tomato, basil and a hint of garlic were well-balanced. There were five jumbo shrimp and two grit wedges of yellow corn that had been flash-fried. The sauce for the shrimp and grits was a lobster base. I would have liked one more grit wedge it was so good.

Dessert was a creme brule that unfortunately was a little weak in the flavor department.

Overall, however, we were very pleased with the service and the entrees.
