We called late on sunday and they were a few minutes from closing. They told us to come on over and that they would take care of us. The staff were amazing. The menu offered a wide range of food, lots of stesks, BBQ, fish, shrimp, they even had a few vegitarian options (portobello and veggie burger). Beer and wine with a few microbrews). The food was great. We had blackened shrimp on a Caesar salad (great) a pulled pork sandwhich (very good) and a fried fish dinner (just ok). Grateful for their kindness on a rainy Sunday when everyone else was closed. Thank you.

We had been hiking all day and were really hungry. We decided we wanted steak and were thinking of going to a chain steak house when we remembered eating at Bogart's several years back. After checking out the reviews (and finding them positive) we went.

We visited on a rainy, Wednesday evening and the place was about 3/4 full. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was prompt and was quick and friendly during our entire visit. We both ordered the 8oz ribeye. Both were cooked to order and were hot when they arrived at our table. We both had baked potato and salad for our sides. The potatoes were hot and thoroughly cooked and the salads were crisp and tasty. We were offered fresh ground pepper and were asked if we needed additional dressing. Our drinks were kept full all evening and the bread that was brought was warm and delicious.

It appeared that there was a good mix of tourists and locals. All seemed in good spirits. Our meal and our experience was great. We will definitely return!

We were in Waynesville for a couple of nights and had a disappointing meal at another restaurant but Bogart's was great! The six of us were quickly seated and drinks were served fast. Our waitress, Heather was friendly and took the time to go over the specials and which items she really preferred. Service was exceptional and the food was served hot and on time. They had a good beer selection and conversation with Heather was fun and relaxing. We will def return on our next trip to the area.

The food here is very good and the service is excellent. Friendly staff makes one want to return. We ate here twice on a recent visit to Waynesville and enjoyed both meals.

We tried Bogart's while in Waynesville on vacation. It got good reviews and our innkeeper recommended it. It was reasonably priced, but otherwise left me unimpressed. That was probably the fault of our server who was well into her golden years. Honestly, this lady did her best, but she simply could not get around well enough to do her job properly. I had the Cajun trout. Portion size was good, but my fish was slightly over-cooked and arrived at the table near room temperature. I think I would try Bogart's again. Hope I have a different server.
