Description: A Unique Farm to Fork Experience: Innovative Southern Food with a Local Backbone & Home Grown Libations Frogs Leap Public House is a farm to table country pub at the corner of Church and Montgomery Streets, built in 1918 as the southeast's first Buick dealer just one block south of Main in the heart of historic downtown Waynesville. FLPH is focused on the culture, art, music, wine, beer and especially the food of Western North Carolina. Like the City of Waynesville itself, FLPH is Southern down to its roots, but draws influences from around the world. The food is fresh and local, the libations are home grown, the music is American and has a beat. FLPH is home to a family with a passion for serving world class food, wine, and spirits in a soulful, comforting atmosphere.

The menu changes with the season and this time was more suited towards sandwiches. My hubby and I always meet up with friends and Waynesville is our halfway point. So we have eaten several times here. Always really good food; a bit pricey but in the summer it's mostly farm to table so it's worth it. Atmosphere is rustic; there are two wood burning ovens. No outside seating available. It's very clean inside; as is the restrooms but a warning about the water when washing your hands - it's freezing!

My wife & I went here for the 1st time on Valentines Day for a dinner without the kids. The menu was very unique with choices that you would not expect in this part of the state, a small town. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely return for another romantic dinner.

Waynesville, located among some of the most beautiful vistas in the Great Smokey Mountains has a jewel of a restaraunt just off the main shopping district of this quaint mountain town. Frogs Leap is unique for the selection and quality of its North Carolina cuisine. I have eaten there six times and have always been more than happy with both the selection, the careful preparation of dishes, and the wonderful taste treats that await. I highly recommend this marvelous place.

What a wonderful surprise in a small town. How many times do you eat in a restaurant and think about coming back just to try something else? At most restaurants-you eat to eat. At the Frog's Leap-you eat to enjoy. The chef's passion shows. Our waitress, Sunny, was very engaged in her job and made our time at FLPH a VERY pleasant one. This is one restaurant that you just couldn't be bored with the menu. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Do yourself a favor......go.
Very innovative.

Truffle fries! When in the area, these are a must! Even if just for a quick snack, belly up to the beautiful dark wood bar, join the locals in conversation, have a glass of wine and enjoy every bit of the truffle fries...no ketchup please!
