The food was a little above average but the drinks were good. 0n weekends there is a Jazz pianoist giving the place an intimate feel.I had a cheese burger but my friend was not thrilled with her steak.

Menu is as appealing and delicious as the live piano! Went with my wife for a romantic evening and couldn't have done better. A must place.

If you are looking for a more intimate dining experience with great food and a friendly, helpful staff; look no further than The Bank Bistro. The menu is constant but the chef adds daily evening specials for fun. Their steaks are so tender, their seafood fresh and their wine selection superb. Dining space is limited, so reservations are a good idea.

Enjoyed the evening with another couple and dinner here... The steak was prepared to order perfectly and the sides were delicious. We really enjoy visiting this restaurant.. This building has taken on many different entities since the last "Bank" left the building; however the decore is very appealing and a warm and cozy atmosphere. The ambiance, I personally wish was a little more subdued, but its kinda hard to do when you have 24 ft. ceilings and marble floor. All in all, very enjoyable. Mary Carolyn Walker, I believe, has found quite a gem and I hope the people of Washington will continue to support her in this A+ eatry.

The place was packed on a Friday night and a piano player added to the charm of the brick-walled former bank with high ceilings - not a huge place at all, and we waited for our table at the attractive bar at the back. Crab cakes awere excellent, but the mango salsa was unnecessary. The filet was grilled perfectly. A chicken dish with goat cheese, spinach and artichoke hearts was also pronounced good. Service was great once we got our seat!
