“Airstream trailer across from boat ramp with decent food.”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

Located on Wayah Road across from Lake Nantahala in Topton. This an actual airstream trailer converted into a food truck that has a limited, but good, menu. Chili dogs, small pizzas, nachos, tamales, milkshakes and ice cream. What more do you need? There are a few covered picnic tables where the family can sit while enjoying lunch or just a quick snack. The boat ramp is across the street and down over a hill to the lake. It is a free wifi and cell phone hotspot (not many cell towers in the area. Take advantage of it.)

“An Amazing Gem in Nantahala.”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

This is a new landmark of Nantahala! While Nantahala is hands down one of the most beautiful and fun places in the US with its lake, river, and trails, it lacks cell reception. However, an empty stomach and signs that read "Free WiFi" led us to this shining Air Stream cafe. The employees were welcoming and kindhearted. We had many items including tamales and chili dogs. But they even had spaghetti ice cream! A MUST!! It all was a gourmet twist on everyday foods, for half the cost. Great for a morning cappuccino or a feast for hungry kids.
