Moonshine Creek Campground is a beautiful place set in the Smoky mountains on a rambling mountain creek. The setting is very natural with lot's of large trees and most of the sites back right up to the creek. You can hear the water from everywhere in the place and the grounds and bathhouse are kept extremely clean. This place is for people that like to get away and feel like they are camping, everyone has a fire at their site and the owners are really friendly and very good about making sure everyone is happy and enforcing quite time. The location is excellent just a few minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, and also close to Waynesville, Asheville, and Cherokee. We really enjoyed our stay and it will be hard to camp anywhere else now that we have found Moonshine Creek!!
