Sea Trail Plantation - Jones Course
More attraction details
Attraction details
Owner description: The Jones Course is a straightforward layout featuring generous mounded fairways bordered by scenic lakes and towering trees. A perennial favorite among residents and guests, this course is an extraordinary golf experience for players of all skill levels. Wide fairways and large mounds are surrounded by water, with water coming into play on 11 holes of the Par 72 championship course. In addition to water hazards, the many pot and large expanse bunkers make for a delightfully challenging game of golf. This spectacular course measures 6,761 yards from the blue tees; 6,334 yards from the white tees; 5,716 from the gold tees; and 4,912 yards from the red tees

Sea Trail- Jones has some of the best greens this early in the year. They could be considered speedy, but they run very true. The staff for loading carts and getting you started could be less stuffy, but, the course was fun and somewhat challenging to play.

Great greens. One of several courses at Sea Trail. Tee times in advance are important. They have a restaurant on site that is good with buffet lunches. Great to meet spouses after your game...!

The Jones course at Sea Trail is wider with fewer forced-carries than the Byrd Course. The course offered a special rate if we brought a donation of canned food for the food bank, which we did. We enjoyed our round of golf here on a beautiful sunny day. I was disappointed in the helpfulness and attitude of the cart shed staff as they seemed more intent on visiting among themselves than providing service to golfers.
