Decided to try Gravy based on other reviews and was not disappointed. The first night we rode by the restaurant the parking lot was full with people waiting to get seats so we passed. The next night we lucked out with a short wait for a table for two, Longer waits for larger parties. Very small inside. The menu had a huge selection from salads, burgers to all types of entrees. We had the country fried steak and the special that night which was pork loin. Both were excellent and just like our grandmothers would have made...mashed potatoes and all. In fact, we like it so much, we went back the next night instead of going into Calabash for our seaford. We had the small fried shrimp/flounder plates which was still too much food for me. The shrimp were the next size up from the tiny calabash one but I actually prefer them better.
Both nights our food was excellent and service great. My comment when I left was I could eat there every night and have something different. Peach cobbler was delicious!
Definitely a must! Great prices.
