Description: After 46 years, Ronnie and Clarice Holden decided it was time to share their love of Twin Lakes with their friends, The Watkins. In February of 2017 they began the new Twin Lakes By The Sea and it started to evolve into a year round restaurant with a southern flair added to it with some of Alysa's competition winning dishes added to the new menu. Now guests from all over the country can still get the best in Carolina cuisine with the Southern hospitality (coastal style) ...come add a little paradise to your evening at Twin Lakes By The Sea...where sunsets are always complimentary. Come dine on our new outdoor deck! Now open for lunch.

We have vacationed in the area four times. Each time we visited Twin Lakes Seafood Restaurant. The food has always been delicious and the service excellent, but this year we noticed the prices went up and the portions went down. My wife always gets the Carolina crab cakes, and in the past, the entree included 3. This year however, she only got 2, and my Mahi Mahi portion left me leaving hungry. If you don't mind small portions and high prices, this is a nice restaurant.

We've been going to Sunset Beach now for 18 years. Twin Lakes was just on the mainland side over the swing bridge. But now that the big causeway is there you might have a harder time finding it. Make sure to get an upstairs porch table. Great views of the intercoastal and if you're lucky you might just catch a cool breeze. We think over the years the food has improved greatly and the service has always been good. It a pleasant casual place for friends and family and if you're staying on the island, a great location.

We were attending a convention and were very tired after a long day and wanted a quick meal. We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and decided to try it. We sat in the bar upstairs. The view was delightful and the restaurant was very clean and the decor very attractively "beach". The bartender was extremely efficient and friendly. Appetizers were half price from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (or so). We ordered four appetizers and called that dinner and all of them were excellent! The bartender also treated us with hush puppies which were also excellent. All in all a delightful find!

The food was good, but nothing special. Service was good. If you can get a seat on the upstairs porch you will have a nicer dining experience.

On our search for a good coastal restaurant we found this place. Very decent food, a friendly and knowledgeable service and a nice view from the deck. We'll for sure come back.
