Nice place to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Plenty of seating inside and out. Right off main street if you want to people watch or are meeting up with friends. Just steps from the water if you want to go for stroll. Pumpkin spice latte is wonderful! Get it while you can. Line moved a little to slow for me but otherwise was a great experience and will definitely go there again.

Stopped in for coffee on a lovely morning. The staff were pleasant, service was fast and accurate. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and made a person feel like they were sitting in the living room of an old country home. Everyrhing was clean and welcoming. Thank you.

Friendly staff with great coffee and food. It is located in downtown historic Southport close to the local park on the water. Great way to wake up in the morning

The farther south one travels in the US, the "slower" everything gets. This includes the service at Port City Java.

Port City Java is certainly a pretty good coffee shop, though there is not much competition in the area. The food is pretty tasty as well, though the bagels aren't very authentic (what can you expect for North Carolina?)
