In an effort to support local business, we stopped in the Blue Marlin for dinner on Saturday night. We should have turned around when we saw only 2 cars in the parking lot on a Saturday night. I ordered the special; petite sirloin and shrimp. It took 35 minutes for our meal to come out. The shrimp were the tiny baby shrimp that should be reserved for a salad. They were rubbery. I could not even cut the sirloin with a steak knife. The broccoli had no seasoning at all. My husband got the BBQ chicken breast which was supposed to be topped with a mango chutney-that was the appealing part. No chutney to be found. My daughter had to ask 3 time for a glass of water. When she finally brought it and set it on the table she spilled a beer that was meant for the man in front of us. My daughter got wet as did some of our food. The waitress thought it much more important to get the man another beer than to clean up our mess. We won't be back.
