We went in for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, ordered 2 hamburgers, 1 hot dog and 3 chicken sandwiches. Asked the server for our food and she kept saying to us and other patrons that she had a big section and "was about to lose it", after 45 minutes we left, still no food.

This place has a nice location on the waterfront and offers a wonderful view of the harbor and ocean on a sunny day. Good place to stroll down to after visiting the town of Southport and doing a little shopping. Food was adequate and a bit over-priced. The seafood chowder was very good and service was fair. Not a bad place to sit, get a sandwich, and enjoy the view.

Save yourself a lot of grease, grief and time! Echo the "count 'Em...2" comment. Incredibly tough shrimp I had to pry from their tails, mealy crab-less deep fried crab cake. And it's a shame, since it has such a great view, is the most convenient to the long row of B&Bs and Waterfront Park but they managed to overcome these finer points with worn-out oilcloth, grimy windows and dreadful food. Diner, beware!!

Busy place on a stormy Saturday evening-waitress said it might be due to the film crews that were in town. Service took a little longer, but not bad considering the crowd. We enjoyed the view of the Intracoastal Waterway and developing storm. The broiled shrimp with fries and cole slaw that I ordered was very good. Hope to visit here again.

We always go for dinner, but this time the service wasn't great, hamburgers thin and burnt, and sauce for shrimp and scallop pasta was like watery milk. I don't know if they changed owners or cooks, but we won't be back next year!
