What a find. We have eaten at several places around Southern Pines but yet we somehow always skirted Chef Warrens. We didn't know what we were missing. The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet couples night out and the moment we walked in the smells were wonderful and promising.

Let me tell you the food was incredible. With the exception of a salad and our dessert - we ordered everything off that day's specials menu. We started with an appetizer of figs, mascarpone cheese and prosciutto that was very delicate and melted in your mouth. The wonderful staff took the time to actually split the salad that we decided to share which was a wonderful simple summer salad. Our entrees were fantastic - bacon wrapped fillet on a bed of mashed potatoes, broccolini and a tasty demi-glaze and diver scallops on an amazingly good beet risotto. We finished our meal with their award winning pecan pie....first I don't think they should call this pecan pie. They should call this pecan heaven. It was the best pecan pie we have ever tasted.

Chef Warren's far exceeded our expectations and will be our #1 restaurant of choice here in Southern Pines. Our recommendation - don't miss it!! A must experience.

We have come here for years and it remains in our top ten favorite places to eat a meal. Perhaps being family owned and operated contributes to the consistency of places like Warren's. The filet is good every time. Its cooked perfectly every time. It comes out from the kitchen on time at a perfect temperature, every time. Warrens a big part of why I love eating in Southern Pines. We drive 30 min to enjoy what they offer. Its worth the trip ever time.

Had heard we needed to go to this restaurant in Southern Pines. Service was so personable! Even had someone recommend an Indian restaurant in Chapel Hill because the waiter remembered I love curry! Wine is poured from a bottle at your table, not a glass delivered from the bar. Never had that kind of service. Waiter even brought extra dessert for our table to try. Only downside was the smoke from the open kitchen burned my eyes. Food was very good.

We dined here on a Saturday night. Had reservations and were seated on time. Small restaurant. Was surprised by how noisy it was. Maybe because of an open kitchen and bar area. The least expensive dinner item was about $19. I enjoyed the vegetarian ravioli but could have been warmer. Bread was served nice and warm before dinner but everything else is a la carte. Food quality is good. Salmon was well seasoned with rich color and tender. Hummus was a little bland but the bread it came with was fresh and hot. Not a bad dining experience but would have liked a cozier and quieter place for the price. Tables are close to each other.
