We have eaten at outback for years & always liked it. Recently, though, the portions are smaller, but the prices seem to keep going up. They serve the food on clunky big plates so it appears that you're getting more. My husband hates the plates. You can't rest your knife on the side. He was so irritated last visit that he vowed to not come back for "a long time". The hostesses act like they're doing you a favor when they seat you & it seems to be a "game" with them that they seat the older patrons who have difficulty walking as far away as they can. Come on, use a little common sense & don't make them walk to the back of the restaurant when there is close in seating. They keep trying to seat my husband and me at a small table when there are plenty of open boothes then act like it's a big favor to seat us at a comfortable booth instead of the dinky table. Things like this make for an uncomfortable restaurant experience.
