Every time we eat at a Cracker Barrel restaurant we come away satisfied! Whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. People from New England, such as myself - call the last meal of the day - supper! No matter, it is always good!

We stopped here on our way home to Myrtle Beach from northern Virginia on Memorial Day and although the restaurant was quite busy, the service was fast, friendly and one of the best that I have experienced at a Cracker Barrel. This was probably a result of having a very experienced (4 stars) server, Judy but while we were waiting for Judy to bring us our drinks, another server came to our table since we still had our menus as we hadn't yet ordered our meals, and inquired as to whether or not we had been waited on. This was a first for me at a Cracker Barrel as we have had past occasions when we were waiting for a server and several servers just walked by our table and ignored us.

We ordered from the healthy menu, I had the trout and my wife had the pecan chicken salad, both of which were enjoyable. Our total meal cost including tax but excluding tip was $23.55 and well worth the cost. We were out of the restaurant in 45 minutes which was less than the one hour that we have experienced in the past.

If you were taken to a Cracker Barrel blind folded you would not know where you were as they are exactly the same in decor, menu and service. That is because what they offer is desired and the customer knows he/she can depend upon getting good food with good service at a fair price. Traveling in an RV makes CB even more inviting with breakfast served all day and night long. Let the gals go shopping at the outdoor mall while you sit back enjoy a hearty meal.
