Great Spot is Great News! We have a lot of our Canadian friends traveling by this time of year. We are delighted that you stayed with us. We want to make your stay just as comfy cozy as possible. We realize on such a long trip from Florida back north that the little things mean a lot. We are so happy to have you as our guest and hope you'll stay with us again along the way.

My husband and I recently spent two nights at this hotel (TH. the 20th and Fri. the 21st) to take advantage of a good location to do some things in the area. We were greeted upon our arrival by a very loud desk clerk. Had there been others in the lobby, I would have asked her to tone it down a bit so as to not broadcast our personal information. She opened with something like "I see you booked with hotels.com....next time call me." Kind of odd. Our check in was efficient and we proceeded to the car to get our things and up to our room. The room was fine in size and well appointed. There were plenty of towels and toiletries in the spacious bathroom. Loved the counter tops size in there. We had just settled in when the phone rang. I thought, "How nice. The desk is calling to see if everything is okay. Classy." NOT! We were chastized for being too loud. Apparently someone had "called on us." The TV had just been turned on (volume 8 ...check it out, that's very quiet) and we had not said 5 sentences. That did not sit well with us. Breakfast the next two days was fine. Sausage had a bit to be desired, but other things were good and plentiful. As with the whole property, the breakfast room was very clean. Both days the women tending to the breakfast area were hard workers and lovely people. We were away most of the day Friday. We returned to the room about 8 p.m. As we watched basketball, we noticed, about 9 p.m., LOUD SNORING coming from the room next door...as if it were in our room. We chose to NOT report it, rather we turned the fan on at the thermostat to drown it out. We did not hear any traffic noise or outside noise, but we easily heard snoring from the room next door. Sad to think you cannot have a normal coversation or watch TV on a vacation without disturbing neighbors.

Room Tip: Ask if any have insulated walls so you don't have to hear what's goign on next door.

Dear Senior Contributor,

Here we definitely got off to the wrong start with the way you were greeted. This is unusual for us as we always put our guests first, and a warm greeting just goes without saying. I remember speaking to you as you were leaving. I would like the chance to make this up to you. Just give me a call when you may be coming our way again so that I can arrange an upgraded room for your next stay. We want a second chance to show you what Southern Hospitality is all about.

Kind regards,

MBoyette, Sales Director

traveling thru to florida decided to stop for the night and this was the first place i looked at and well it was the best choice i could have made i wish it was the hotel at my final destination but oh well... service was amazing staff very polite, and helpful. Room was great temperature control was great i wasnt to hot or to cold. could have used a few more options at breakfast but i wont complain it was tasty. grounds were kept very clean. i didnt go looking to see if they had a pool or not i was wayyyyy to tired to do that. bed was very comfortable and sheets were clean (no spots or anything like some hotels) room smelled great. very modern. wifi worked as it should. if i ever travel thru there again and its time for me to stop i will no hesitate to stop.. i highly recommend this hotel...

On the trip up and down I95, it is really about economy and cleanliness. I've never stayed in a Sleep Inn before but on this trip to FL I stayed in two. This one was by a significant margin, superior. It was recently rehabbed and was clean and fresh and a great value with lots of nearby restaurants. Also, I begun to notice a pattern. Stay in hotels with lots of local competition. Supply and demand comes into play and it keeps the prices under control. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: They do have smoking rooms so if you don't want to be near one ask to be put on a non smoking fl...

We are fortunate to be located right off Interstate 95 on exit 95. A great exit to stop over when traveling to Myrtle Beach or Florida. We do love to give you a lot of value for your money. Loved your description of clean and fresh with great new updates. Thank you for ranking us Superior by a significant margin, Senior Contributor. We hope your travels will bring you back our way again!

The I-95 drive has suddenly become much more accommodating, if you are looking for the perfect, relatively inexpensive rest location on I-95, I strongly suggest Smithfield NC and the Sleep Inn. Its adjacent to the Carolina Premium Outlets and numerous restaurants. Sleep Inn was very clean, the room was up to date and well appointed with comfortable beds, the staff extremely courteous and helpful. The only short coming was the slow wi-fi connection. Otherwise this was heaven

We spent one night at the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean, had a nice sized fridge, small microwave and coffee maker. There was a blackout curtain on the window which helped a lot. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy but there was cereal, fruit, waffles, hard boiled eggs and premade hot eggs and sausage, plus juice.

Nothing could be FINER than to be in Carolina...especially with you as our guest, Senior Contributor! Loved your report of friendly and courteous front desk staff who give great attention to making our guests feel right at home. We find that our guests do enjoy having a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in their room. We also keep fresh coffee all day in the breakfast room so you can have a cup whenever you want. Hope you'll keep us in mind the next time you are coming our way!
