“Better Than Most”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

These appears to be a newer casual/fast food restaurant specializing in burger, America's favorite sandwiches, salads, french fries and what they call Old Fashioned milk shakes. You order at the cashier and pick up the food when your number is called. Restaurant was relatively small, but nicely appointed modern decor. We had a very good hamburger and a surprisingly good pulled pork sandwich. The french fries were on a level of quality and taste above almost anywhere else and are fresh cut daily. Prices were very reasonable overall - though keep in mind that you pay for sides separately. This was the South Asheville (NC) Skyland location. One of the table staff (someone who checks on your food and buses the tables as you finish) make a very telling remark. He went out of his way to be friendly, accommodating and polite - and said that he was new to the company; but as they opened more locations in this area he hoped to grow with them. Another customer told him he had not been in a McDonalds or Burger King for years and appreciated the food French Fryz served. The young table staff person said it was all in the way staff were trained and treated that made the difference. I thought he made a very good point about what you should expect when you walk into a restaurant that falls more into the casual food category - French Fryz delivered.

“Old Fashioned Southern Goodness Quickly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

Fast, busy, bustling staff serving bunches in quick step time to mostly locals (too bad...only a couple miles from I-26).
Memories from childhood.......good old fashioned hotdogs, hamburgers, French Fryzs, onion rings, etc. etc. In & Out pretty quickly. (Parking a little tight.)

“Average Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

We were out for a drive and saw this restaurant and thought we would try it. According to some reviews the burgers were great. I had the regular burger and my wife had the cheeseburger and an order of fries.
The burgers were average at best. Their fries were so greasy that we only ate a few. We probably will not return for a second visit. Really disappointed as we were looking for a unique place.

“Old time burgers and milkshakes.”

Really good food and shakes. No table service. Very tight parking and hard to get out off. Super busy streets to cross.
