“It was okay...”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

The first time I ate there is was great! The second and last time I ate there it was horrible. The last meal I had there was the chicken and cheese sandwich. I ordered it with onions and cheese only. I ended up with a very dry sandwich with peppers...very disappointing.

“Good for something quick”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

We got sandwiches to go and the were good, loved the sunflower seed bread. Shave ice was pretty good & they have lots of choices for everything so we will be going back to try some other items on the menu.

“Great food at a great value”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

Whatever you are craving, Hula Girl has it. Hot dogs (red and brown), burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc. are served by friendly and helpful staff in a family friendly environment. The portions are good and the value is great. There is also an unlimited selection of delicious Hershey's hand dipped ice cream. This is a must try place for anyone.

“Great lunch spot in the middle of a bunch of antique stores.”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

We stopped in Selma on the way home from the beach for a little antique shopping. It was lunch time, so we were looking for a quick place to grab a bite. We stumbled on to Hula Girl, because it is right in the middle of the downtown antique stores. It turned out to be a lucky find. Not only was it quick, but it was a really enjoyable experience. Sort of a retro place with neat signs and other decor. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. The food is basic (hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, etc.), but it is all good. We've already decided to visit Selma again to check out the antique stores we missed this time, and when we do, we'll visit the Hula Girl again for lunch, and maybe some ice cream.
