Where to begin? This house is clearly just for rental income, with an owner who cares only about the investment. If i were a contractor it would take about two men two weeks or longer to do the punch list of problems this house has. There are light switches that i can find do nothing, perhaps it is for light kits on ceiling fans that dont exist or bulbs that have never been replaced. The ceiling fans are builder grade and noisey at any speed and that is not mentioning that the blades are worn out and drooping. There is minor carpet pulls all over, not overly worn just falling apart at transition from hardwood flooring to carpet. The master bathroom has a tiled floor where at least three tiles are popped and loose. The tub needs to have a warning because there is no anti-slip in there to keep you on your feet, my daughter slipped and almost broke her arm. The vertical blinds at the ample amount of sliders to let in fresh air and light are a nice touch from the eighties but should not look like they have been hanging there since the eighties. The house has a home alarm that moniters doors and windows amongst other items, just enjoy the multitude of peeps that it gives off every thirty seconds or so 24 hours a day. If you listen carefully you can here those peeps anywhere in the house but with the ceiling fans on the drone of tired motors will drown that right out. Outside you will find a nice pool and hot tub with plenty of seating on a random assortment of cheap plastic chairs that were undoubtedly bought during last years end of season clearance. The decking should be taken note of as to walk carefully around, it was given a coat of heavy deck refinisher with traction aid some years ago but was not properly prepped before application and it shows by all the areas where it is peeling up in chunks. Cooking in this house is fine as long as there was newer fry pans, the ones there that are nonstick are all peeling and that will give you cancer to eat with those.
I am certainly not being extra picky with this home as i have been renting various houses through most of the rental management companies for over twenty years. This house in my opinion is very much overpriced by about thirty percent at any given time during the season. I am not saying that this house could not warrant the price i paid but it would require some serious attention to detail and sprucing up.
