Nice property close enough to walk to the beach - but best done with a cart for the sand once you start crossing the ridge line dunes. Or even better - skip the walking - get a beach driving permit and just go out with your 4wd vehicle to pick a spot;)
4 bedrooms - each with private bath along with a half bath on both the top and bottom floors. Nice large game room with second fridge and wet bar on bottom floor.
Loved the fenced in pool area with the sturdy big chairs.. different than in the website pics - they are nicer now. Could stand to have a table down there - glad we brought our own from home just in case ..
Ample parking - at one point we had six cars in the driveway with no problem.
Crows nest sun deck was well loved by all as was the deck outside the living room - lovely view of the water even if it is a bit distant.
layout to get in is bit odd - you either have to climb the outside front steps (about 25) to the middle level, or go under the stairs, through the outside shower, thru a gate, along the pool up some steps thru another gate and in the back door to the game room area.... and then upstairs. it would have been better if they turned one of the game room windows on the front into a door...
Furnishing is adequate but had a few things we noted--
Living room couches could stand to be updated and the mattresses ALL made noises when you move. The dining table finish is slowly deteriorating- maybe a cleaner that got used? Paper plates stick to the finish - cleans off easily but still...
They could also stand to upgrade the televisions -- at the very least in the game room get something larger and if hanging still be sure there is a shelf or something to allow hook up of gaming systems for those rainy days for the kids.. living room tv is the largest /newest in the house and I think it was a 32 inch. all the others looked to be older "big back" models and some bedrooms had tiny 13 inch things.
This is non- fixable without a renovation- but the Master on top floor is very spacious which, while very nice, I would have made the kitchen area bigger and cut some out of the giant bathroom. They could have put in a bit more cabinets or a pantry instead- when down this far you like to have plenty of room for all the groceries.. and the cabinets are mostly full of dishes already ... BUT having the fridge and cabinet downstairs was a lovely addition for things we wanted near the pool so it was workable.
