walked in the door at 2:59pm, not realizing the restaurant closed for lunch at 3pm. The young lady hosting was most amenable and welcoming - and it was not an issue at all for us to be served lunch. So, we sat among other diners, in a charming & comfortable restaurant and enjoyed a delicious lunch.
Their "squirrel salad" (mine with blackened chicken) was very good and i would highly recommend; their daily special - a beef with melted gouda piled high atop a sourdough roll was also excellent.
We were delighted to learn the restaurant features live Bluegrass music on Friday evenings and for sure, we will return to this little gem in Saluda.
