Our weekend stay at Avalon Homestead, was just so enjoyable, with a group of sewing friends, it was the perfect get away for busy mums. Peter and Delveen were such friendly and helpful hosts, the whole weekend's food was fabulous to consume and very well presented. The rooms were lovely, clean, uncluttered and everthing in working order! the stroll down the hallway is a delight , to stop and observe the collections in the recesses, very nice! We"ll definitley go back there again. Thanks Pam

The hosts, Peter and Delveen, really know how to make you feel welcome and at home! Avalon Homestead is just that, home away from home. Set in one of the most peacful and serene surroundings in Western Australia, the Homestead is nestled on a 5 acre block with 16 Twin/King rooms. With a 4-star rating this location really knows how to accommodate all the creature comforts. TV in every room, reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans, each room with it's own en-suite and complimentary toiletries. Each room has access to either the patio facing the Valley or to the South West facing courtyard gardens. You can sit amongst the lovely gardens and watch the world go by and be joined by the local bird wildlife - extremely relaxing. Ideal location for group retreats with conference facilities and a dining room to cater for up to 32 people. Peter caters for all dietary requirments and puts out some awesome meals! Friendly, warm and inviting - and a great getaway location for all.

Room Tip: Rooms on the courtyard side are quieter than the Valley side. Though the views from the Valley side...

Thank You for review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. I must point out that we are no longer part of triple AAA tourism, so we are no longer entitled to call ourselves a 4 star property. Our thoughts are, That our Guests opinions on our facilities and their stay is far more relevant to us & potential guests than the star rated system.
So once again thank you for taking the time to review our property and we look forward to having you as a guest again sometime in the future.

We went as part of a group and were so pleasantly surprised at the high quality of accommodation, the excellent and friendly service and the fantastic meals served up for the 5 days of our stay. Hosts Peter and Delveen are a delightful couple, they made each of us feel "special" .... nothing was too much to ask for. We had a most pleasant stay and would readily recommend Avalon Homestead which is set up high, and looking down on beautiful countryside. Very well maintained, clean and with all you could ask for.

My hubby and I recently stayed at Avalon for the weekend. We called a few places last minute - on a whim - and they were the first to call us back. The price was reasonable (we thought) especially given that it included breakfast and they also offered a 3 course dinner for $30/person the night we were there. I don't think that's a given every night, but be sure to ask because it was an awesome bonus. The room was great - good temperature control, nice bathroom, good tv, nice bed, etc. Peter and Delveen were so friendly and helpful - we will absolutely go back if we the opportunity.

Our hosts Peter & Delveen were just so lovely and accomodating. We arrived unexpectedly and were fortunate that they had a room free. They have a wonderful set up for craft or work groups. Provide a nice breakfast and have a lovely outlook on the surrounding countryside. The rooms are nice, clean &comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and if we were to go out that way again we would like to stay with them again.

We found this hotel in our travel guide and were stunned about the lovely place and the warm welcome. We were offered not only a charming, clean room but also the "living room" including a huge tv as well as the veranda for breakfast. The hosts were lovely and could give us very usefull tips about the area.
In all a great stay we will surely remember.

Having arrived unexpectedly, we were made very welcome and, as our rooms were not quite ready, we were given cappucino coffees all round while waiting. We were also given the option of an evening meal, prepared by Peter, and, without a doubt, it was the best meal we bought in the 3 weeks we travelled about Australia! Delveen and Peter are excellent hosts who attend to every detail, ensuring a stay at Avalon is truly memorable.
