We were here only 3 days but the owners/workers were lovely! They had no problem changing our bookings at last minute, the Greyhound stops RIGHT outside the lodge, there are free surf Boards & bikes to use whenever you wish. Very clean and felt like a restful place, we had a roaring fire going in the lounge whilst watching TV (during the storm of the decade!). The kitchen was big and clean and into recycling. Great stay!!

Near the kitebeach, very nice, super equipped kitchen, common room very comfortable, staff really friendly, wood-burning oven to cook the pizza (very important) ...
A perfect place for those who practice kiting, windsurfing and surfing ...
We will be back soon ....

Greetings from Italy
Cristiano

We stayed here twice on separate occasions on our trip around WA. The owners are a lovely couple who make you feel part of their family. They live upstairs in the hostel. Their cat and dog are also a common feature, the cat is happy to sprawl on your lap in the TV room so if you love animals like me its a winner. The 2nd time we stayed the lady owner said she was having a pizza night, they made us all at the hostel pizza's on their woodfire oven and didnt charge up a cent, they enjoyed a bottle of wine with their guests too. The hostel is spotless, well equipped kitchen and really comfortable and homely TV lounge. Its popular with workers/backpackers from Asia who work in the carrot factory nearby.

The staff here were great and the kitchen was SO well equipped. We stayed here twice in private rooms, once downstairs on the edge of the property, it was very quiet and had lovely little patio areas outside each room with table and chairs. The second time we stayed upstairs, this room was more homely and just as clean and quiet. Very clean, a nice swimming pool, a pretty lawned courtyard, table tennis, free bicycles, bbq area with seating, lots of books, board games and even an outdoor pizza oven. Many of the guests are there long term for windsurfing etc. so they are like a friendly family. Great hostel.
