“Amazing”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Hippo's Yawn, as the name says, it's a big rock formation that looks like a huge hippopotamus yawning. Very cool for photography. It's free to park there, and it's a short walk to the Wave rock.

“Yawning Hippo”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

A few minute drive aways from Wave Rock. Not to miss it since we have spent so much time on driving to Wave Rock. The stones formation somehow make it looks like a hippo is yawning. It is definitely worth to spend a little time (5 minutes) to view it.

“Not a lot to see, but good for parking!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

This is worth visiting, but the real benefit is that parking here is free.
Wave Rock is about 0.5 km away, along a well-marked trail, with interesting explanations. Parking at Wave Rock is A$7.
The rock itself is not stunning, but as part of the Wave Rock experience, it's worth seeing.
