“Nice pub for a family meal.”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

We've eaten here a few times in a couple of trips to Esperance and recommend it for a reliable pub meal. It always seems to be busy, so we booked a couple of hours before we wanted to eat as it was a Saturday night. Lucky we did as it filled up quickly and they were struggling to fit diners in for the rest of the night. It offers the usual range of pub meals, including bread rolls and a salad bar. You have to queue to order your food which can take a while if you don't time it right. The food is tasty and reasonable value. They have several TVs scattered on the walls which is good when the summer sports are on! It is a family friendly atmosphere.

“great”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

pretty impressed. we had no reservation and they were quite happy to accommodate us at another reserved table. Pencils and colouring inn for kids, as many as you want. Fast meals even though they were busy. Free bread rolls always a bonus. salad bar a great idea. overall really happy with the place would go again.

“Good good, good service”
Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

A crowded night but we received great service from both the waiting and bar staff. The meals arrived in a timely manner and were tasteful and value girls money. Heading back there tomorrow night also!

“Good Pub Food”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

My Husband and I ate here on the 2 nights we were staying in Esperance and enjoyed the food.
The first night we ate in and pre booked which i would advise on any night as it gets very busy.
The pork rack and mash was a winner, very moist, the bronze whaler fish and chips not so good as batter was very thick. They have a salad bar which is good quality.
The 2nd night we ordered take awt pizza which was very tasty.
The bar serves a good cold beer and the wine list is quite extensive.
Staff were all very friendly we would go back again.

“Less than ordinary”
Reviewed November 4, 2013 via mobile

Really rubbery, tough overcooked chicken & fish, unaware staff ("We don't have a wine list", before getting bar staff to dig one out from behind the bar), having to get your own menus/cutlery/order food despite staff twiddling their thumbs; compared to similar bar/restaurants in other towns, this one was a real disappointment in all areas of our meal out. We gotta say, some staff were trying to do their best, were good, but that didn't make up for the food.
