Having been touring southern WA Esperance was our main destination and having been told how amazing it was we were extremely disappointed. We drove through the town which was going through a heap of roadworks so nothing much to look at and when we got to the campervan park we were even more disappointed. As they we so full we were put on the end of a car park facing the main road on an overnight
block ( we were staying for 4 nights ) . We decided that we weren't going to stay here for the remainder of our stay so in the morning we went looking around for better camp sites and found a really nice one with a pool and lots of grass. We went back to see if we could get our money back and surprisingly they were really apologetic and gave us back our money. So we moved and really enjoyed our stay in Esperance. Even if we were offered a better block we probably would have refused it because it was very cramped, the amenities block was awful and the beach front, which was their main selling point, was having a lot of work done so the view was just scaffolding. Avoid this place, there are many other nice parks in Esperance.
