If you want to bring your own chair(took 20 min to get chairs), plenty of cash (this is potentially the only place at the snow that does not take credit or eftlos), your own water (massive venue with only 4 bottles of water that cannot be moved from the bar) and your own ice cream (told us 15 min after ordering that they had run out) - then you may have a great time! When I couldn't buy drinks in credit the guy at the bar rudely pointed me in the direction of the nearest ATM (although he did later apologise) When they told us about the ice cream and we mentioned a couple of frustrations the waitress threw our money back on the table and told us to go elsewhere. At this point we were s waiting for our mains - which took 45 min to arrive. When it did arrive, I will say that the food was very good. Not worth the experience though

We enjoyed lunch here while skiing at Mt Buller. It does get busy but there are lots of tables. The menu is varied and the food and very good but a wee bit expensive (not a surprise on the mountain though!). We had the soup which was a huge bowl and came with two pieces of toasted bread. Neither of us could finish our soup as we were so full. It was a pity as the cakes and desserts looked great!

Quite a funky atmosphere too. We enjoyed it and would certainly return for another meal here. One of the best eateries on Mt Buller!

For great value, the Hoo Haa at the Kooroora Kitchen is brilliantly priced decent filling fare. I think the genuine bratwurst on the bbq and served in a real bread roll (not that sugary burger chain 'bread') was $6 - uber cheap by Buller's standard. They have a decent selection of down to earth hearty meals and the bar is 10' away. Try it, you won't be disappointed

You're in the right place. Some of the worst, most overpriced food you'll eat. Even for on the mountain.

The menu was certainly a good range of comfort food (Lasagne for me) and mediteranean (Open souvlaki for my wife) plus curries, fish and chips steak etc.
If you can't find something you like it is more likely as you can't make up your mind not that it isn't available.

Good range of drinks but limited number off tap.

We had a bit of a wait but were told this when we ordered, but the 25 minutes was only 15 when the food arrived.

Close to village square so should be no problem finding this place, worth a visit.
