We booked our Yarra Valley tour pretty late; only two days before the actual tour. On the website they listed only the chocolate and wine tour but we were more interested in the cider and ale trail that Yarra Valley had. We gave them a call and they opened a slot up for us to our delight.

On the day itself, we were met by our lovely tour guide Patricia who just had so much enthusiasm and knowledge of the area. As we were a late booking, there were only two of us on the tour! It made for a very flexible and enjoyable experience. She was willing to incorporate a slight change in the original trail and our last stop of the day was a small dairy (amazing cheeses).

Overall, we were extremely pleased with the level of service and interaction we had with our guide, as well as the many ciders and ales we got to try throughout the day. All I have to say is, it was a little pricey, but you pay for what you get. Highly recommended.

Thank you for the wonderful review. We are always proud to show off our backyard to our international guests. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Australia, especially the snow.

I have traveled quite extensively and been on many tours all over, but this tour truly hit them all out of the park. Patricia, the owner, made special last minute arrangements for us to take the tour and was so sweet and accommodating. We were picked up on time at a convenient location and Patricia kindly made a stop for us to get a quick breakfast on the way. We got a wonderful history of the area, local wineries, breweries, and food stops. Not only that, but Patricia's knowledge of wine is astounding and such a perfect compliment to the tour. It was clear that Patricia and her team take vast time and effort to keep up with the best information, options, and stops so that their clients truly get the best experience. While on tour, we felt as though we were traveling with family and had a truly lovely day talking, tasting, and eating. I honestly cannot recommend this tour or this company enough. I wish every tour company I have dealt with was this exquisite!

Thank you for this fantastic review - it was a fabulous day out. The itinerary will definitely be launched and I shall make a song and dance about this in our next newsletter. It was lovely meeting you and spending the day showing off our backyard - which is an easy task, as it is so beautiful. Enjoy the rest of your stay in Australia.

Patricia's wealth of knowledge combined with the informative and friendly approach from the staff members at each of the venues made for a personal experience and a fantastic day out! We did not want the day to end! Great value for money! We are already planning our next 'Wine and Food Lovers' tour.

Thank you Kate for the wonderful review. It was a great day out, and for us it is the best job. Learning and increasing our knowledge in this industry is easy and fun...... we, just like you, enjoy the passion of the cellar door staff. Hope to see you again soon.

My partner and I went on the Yarra Valley Wine and Chocolate Indulgence tour and had a fantastic day. Patricia picked us up on time and was really friendly and knew her stuff - she's very passionate about wine and it showed throughout the day. We were the only ones on the tour that weekend but the bus seems to only seat 6-8 which is great! There were a few other tours we saw around that had up to 15 people on them and we were really glad we went with Patricia - the smaller group let us take our time with our tastings and really have a chat to the people at the cellar door. The whole day was wonderfully relaxing - I was worried we'd be running from one location to the next the whole day but it was the perfect balance of tastings and driving time.

The highlights were both Squitchy Lane and Pimpernell wineries - both really beautiful, smaller vineyards that we never would have found or ventured into on our own. Lunch at Oakridge Estate was really lovely, too. The servings were reasonable and the food was really well paired with the wine. The chocolate tasting at the end of the day capped it all off beautifully.

Patricia has an amazing service on offer here and she's a delight to spend the day with - like a friend who knows all the nifty wineries and information that you'd never find without her. Honestly, I'm going to be buying a lot of vouchers for my friends and family over the next few months for these tours - we had such an amazing time. It really was the perfect wine tasting tour - small, fun, delicious and we learned things about wine! Cannot recommend it enough.

Thank you Michelle for the wonderful testimonial. We thoroughly enjoy showcasing the smaller operators; it gives our clients a more personal experience. Taking smaller groups also makes our job easy and gives us the opportunity to engage with our clients. For us it always feels that we had a great day out with friends; we could not get a better job anywhere. We look forward to hosting all your friends who you are purchasing a gift certificate for, and also hope to see you again on one of our other tours. By the way, I am trying to get a chocolate and red wine pairing under way!

My partner and I went on the bicycle tour around the wineries in the Goulburn Valley (near Nagambie). We had a super fun and exciting day with our hosts Patricia & John. The day was relaxing and we did not feel pressured to leave each winery by a certain time. The bicycles were great to use and helmets were provided. We covered about 20km on the bikes over the course of half day. The longest leg was about 50min but flat and relaxing ride. The wineries visited were beautiful and offered a diverse range of wines to suit all members of the tour (5 of us).
I would recommend this tour to anyone, from cyclists to foodies to wine lovers and those who may just want a great day out in the Victorian countryside.

Thank you for your lovely review. It was a stunning day in the Nagambie Lakes area and this certainly helped us show off the gorgeous environment and the great wineries around - from the very old to the newer! It was a relaxing day and we enjoyed it as much as you.... what is not to love about our job. Thank you again!
