After our morning visit to Barossa Chateau at Lyndoch Hill, Lyndoch Bakery and The Whispering Wall at Barossa Reservoir, we finally reached our lunch destination- 1918 Bistro and Grill. This Restaurant is located in one of the major towns of Barossa Valley- Tanunda. We ordered 2 mains and 2 desserts and the Barossa Haloumi on top of the leek & caramalized onion tart was delicious, since Barossa is not only famous for its wines but also cheeses. The most exciting part of the meal for me was finally having my hands on the dessert menu. Not only their desserts look delicious, they also have a huge selection of liqueur coffees. The sorberts and ice creams were house-made. I only wish I had more space to try out more varieties of their desserts!
