We tasted a lovely dark choc honeycomb on the way in and were impressed with the building, although it did feel very clinical and lacking ambiance.
We had morning tea there and found service in the cafe to be incredibly slow. We waited 15 minutes for 2 coffees and 1 piece of cake. The cake was a bit steeply priced at $8 and the slice I received was quite small (see photo).

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am very sorry to hear that we did not deliver on a warm atmosphere. the coffee machine does get very busy at times and I am sorry to hear that you felt 15 mins was too long to wait for your order to be prepared - I have followed this up with our Cafe team so we can improve . Not all of our cakes are $8 - we have treats in the cake cabinet to cover most dietary requirements and budgets - we try and have full transparency as all of the cakes have visible pricing. We hope that you give us another try next time you are in the region - we would love to offer you coffee on us. warm regards Amanda

This place has plenty of variety in chocolates which aren't badly priced.
They offer tastings at the counter. The staff are friendly and will have a joke with you.
You can see the what's going on in the chocolate kitchen/factory.
Definitely worth a visit.

We had lunch at the cafe and sat on the deck overlooking the lake. Staff were very friendly, service was swift and food was tasty. We found the chocolate shop a little underwhelming and a bit expensive.

Great place to reward the kids after visiting numerous wineries and to take a break from tastings. Watching the workers make chocolate will keep most kids enthralled.

Outside the restaurant are a number of games to keep kids occupied or you can check out the vineyard or dam.

The meals were okay in cafe without being mind blowing.

Good place to visit and buy locally made chocolate. Wide variety of milk, dark, white chocolate, gift baskets, occasion chocoates e.g. Easter, Valentine's Day, etc. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea with cake. Also viewing window to watch goodies being made.
