Owner description: Langmeil Winery offers guests a relaxing friendly place to visit. The gardens are beautiful and child friendly. Ample tables and chairs to enjoy some yummy wines with a cheese platter of local produce (or take it with you) from the lovely staff at Cellar Door. Special premium wine tastings for $50 a person (bookings essential) in the Freedom Cellar and if the weather permits a vineyard tour also, showcasing old gnarly Shiraz vines believed to be the oldest in the world. The old Blacksmiths workshop and stables speak the history of ye ole Langmeil Village - one of the first settlements in the Barossa. There is something for everyone at Langmeil Winery.

A VERY GENEROUS amount of wine allowing you to try every wine on their list! Unfortunate it was the 3rd winery we visited. It's an unstructured tasting meaning you can try any wine in any order but if your new to the game like I was you can kindly ask the servers and they will point you in the right direction!

Taken here by friends on a day trip. Better than some of the other wineries seen same day, more friendly and not too busy despite being on the mini bus tour circuit. Has great outside sitting area to relax and enjoy your tasting. Not into Rose as a rule but found theirs' to be a bit different with more to it than usual.

Visited for a tasting and were blown away by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. When they didn't know an answer to a question (which actually only happened once) they took the time to look it up. As to the wines, also excellent! Some very interesting fortifieds which are also worth a try.

A great stop on our cycle around the Barossa. Very friendly staff and some lovely wines. Good selection of wine and some interesting varieties - loved the Duriff! Staff went out of their way to ensure we were organised for our cycle back up the hill and had the cold water ready and waiting for us on arrival.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff make a visit here very pleasant. The wines are carefully crafted and delicious. Cellar Door environment is charming with historic pioneering feel. It's all very well put together and leaves you feeling spoilt. I always walk away with a collection of wine I love after spending some time in great company.
