We stopped here for one night on our way from Adelaide to Melbourne. Carolyn was very friendly and communication with her before we arrived was great. She offered to book us a restaurant for that evening and highlighted some lovely walks which we did the next day.
Our room was very spacious and homely, with a large bed and bathroom.
The location of the B and B was excellent, once the car was parked, you could walk easily into the pretty town of Robe.
Breakfast was good and it was nice to speak to other guests in the relaxed atmosphere.

We enjoyed two nights there over the Easter week to break up a trip from Kangaroo Island to Melbourne.
After a warm welcome in the guest lounge where Andrew gave us some advice on what to see and do in and around Robe and provided us with maps, directions and restaurant recommendations, we were shown our room.
This was a really good size, well laid out, light and bright and with a view of the sea and a small patio area out the front with a table and chairs. The furnishings and linen were modern and everything was immaculately, and I really do mean, spotlessly clean – not a speck of dust to be found.
The cooked breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious – restaurant standard, and Andrew and Carolyn were happy to provide us with glasses, crockery and cutlery on our first evening when we decided we were too tired to go out and got a takeaway.
Ann’s place doesn’t have any of that awkward feeling that you can sometimes get in B and B’s, you don’t feel as though you are tip toeing around in someone else’s house, it’s more like a boutique hotel with exceptional personal service. There are even a couple of bikes for guests to use which they leave out on the lawn in the morning on request.
I really can’t recommend Ann’s Place enough; it’s the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in and is fantastic value for money.

We had a very warm welcome from Carolyn, Andrew and the dogs. A very welcome cup of tea and delicious biscuits produced before we had a bracing walk around Robe and on the cliffs. The bedroom with its terrace was peaceful and relaxing - we could have stayed for a week! But we were en route from Adelaide to Melbourne so had to press on, fortified by the most delicious breakfast. Don't pass this gem by!

We really enjoyed our night at Ann's Place, with a very warm welcome from Carolyn and Andrew, who made us feel thoroughly at home. The bedroom with its verandah facing the sea was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast, including homemade muesli and freshly cooked apples, was special. The two bikes they lent us enabled us to explore the small town of Robe and its delightful coastal paths.

We had a lovely warm welcome to this great B&B. Andrew was very helpful with our booking and Carolyn went out of her to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. There was a superb view from our modern room and lovely touches including fresh lavender. The room was lovely and clean and stylishly decorated. An excellent cooked breakfast was prepared for us, including warm spiced apples, stewed rhubarb and more!
