“Great stay!”

We loved Whistler Farm. Great comfy bed, roaring fire and delicious local produce provided. Would absolutely stay again - but for a bit longer! Also enjoyed a great meal at FermentAsian, recommended by Jayne.

Hi Simone

Thanks for the review - glad you enjoyed FermentAsian - one of favorite restaurants in the Barossa Valley - you will have to come back and try some of the others. We are spoilt with choice here for eating out.

Very nice stay for two nights. A complementary bottle of wine from the cellar door upon arrival and a beautiful cheese platter that we enjoyed on our first afternoon after a day at cellar doors in the Marananga area. Chris was great, and dropped us and picked us up from two amazing restaurants on both our nights. Take their recommendations for cellar doors and restaurants and you most definitely won't be disappointed. Will go back for sure.....

High quality modern accommodation in a rural setting, in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Good proximity to any winery you'd want to visit. Two separate suites. The Vineyard Suite had comfy bed, slow combustion heating, walk in shower, good sized bathroom, excellent breakfast provisions, restocked daily with eggs from the chooks twenty steps from our door. Cheese platter with goodies all sourced locally and a bottle of Whistler wine from the cellar. Jayne and Chris were generous hosts, close by but definitely not intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to chat over a glass of wine. Highly recommended.

Have just spent 2 lovely nights at Whistler Farm B&B. The accommodation was great, very clean, modern furnishings and fresh supplies daily for breakfast. A lovely cheese plate upon arrival and a complimentary bottle of the wine which I can highly recommend. The location in the Barossa is excellent. Just a short walk to Maggie Beer's and just a short drive to other major Barossa towns. Jayne and Chris are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be recommending this place highly. Ray & Ann

After travelling by car from Alice Springs we had a fantastic 2 night stay at Whistler Farm in the Olive Grove room (great private views of the farm). The room has everything you need, a cheese platter on arrival, complimentary bottle of Whistler wine from the cellar and fresh breakfast supplies each day including fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm. Jayne and Chris are most welcoming hosts, their invitation to share an evening glass of wine and chat about events of the day was a lovely personal touch. Would highly recommend Whistler Farm to any one considering a stay in the Barossa.

We have just returned to Brisbane after a wonderful two nights at the Whistler Farm B&B. I booked this trip for my wife and I (first without the kids in 18 years) from Tunisia where I was working and based my booking purely on the comments I had read online. My expectations were high and even those were surpassed. The hosts Chris and Jayne make this the perfect B&B - their hospitality was amazing even inviting us to join their table at the community curry night which was an undoubted highlight. The room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed; the breakfast was expansive and filled with fresh, farm goodies and the complimentary wine and cheese platter on arrival, beautiful. I selfishly considered not adding a review to keep Whistler Farm B&B all to ourselves but consummate hosts like Chris and Jayne deserve every praise.

What a delight it was to have you stay with us - we always worry if we invite people to join us at something if they are going to enjoy it or not - it can make or break your holiday. But I think we all had a great night and to have that many locals around us including about 8 local winemakers I think it helps to make your experience of the Barossa extra special.

See you again hopefully.
