I took my folks over to the Barossa Valley for Father's Day... this helicopter flight topped off an already fantastic day! We went on the 10 minute flight which proved to be long enough and we got to see a lot of the Barossa even on such a short trip. At only $69pp it was definitely money well spent. We flew over the famous Whispering Wall, Mengler's Hill Lookout, a number of wineries and a fancy hotel (i think it was a Novotel or Hilton)... it was a gorgeous view at this time of year with so much greenery. My mum even cried! We thought it was because she was terrified of flying, but she shared that she was crying tears of joy at how absolutely breathtaking the landscape was!

I will definitely be taking friends and family for helicopter flights in the future with Barossa Helicopters. It is a family run business and they are very professional, and yet very friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to book much in advance (we called just an hour beforehand). Highly recommend!!!

My wife, daughter and I came across the Barossa Helicopter signage along the road to Williamstown in the Barossa Valley.
Not having been on a helicopter before, we decided to make some enquires.
We were greeted by the owner,Sandra Kies who we found to be the most helpful and friendly person. After listenig to the quick review on the B.Valley, we decided to try a short ride which covered a fair bit of the Valley.
The Heli was piloted by Peter Kies who was an excellant guide cum pilot. The ride was so smooth that we not only enjoyed our birds eye view of the BAROSSA VALLEY, we also overcame our fear of flying in helicopters. (Thanks to Peter)
We would very strongly recommend the helicopter ride to all those visting this area. (rides come in a 10, 20 & 40 minutes packages)

Thank chelvijay
