We were going to Barossa Valley for a concert and we couldn't find accommodation anywhere. It was through the internet that showed different hotels that we booked into this B &B only to learn later that it was already full.
Brian (the owner) seemed concerned that someone had already sold us a room and they were full, but said he was going to try to find us accommodation anyways.
He actually convinced a couple that wasn't going to the concert to switch the weekend so we could stay on the weekend that we wanted. The hotel package had a complimentary champagne, wine and platter of cheeses and meats (amazing!).
When we got there Gill received us with freshly baked pie...it was delicious! The rooms were spectacular. So much attention to detail. If we had known it was going to be like that we would have stayed longer to be able to relax and enjoy what the rooms had to offer. Gill and Brian gave us containers so we could take the food from the platters in a basket to the concert.
The breakfast the next day was divine, they basically grow their own veggies and even have their own chickens and eggs. Make sure to order some crepes! YUM!
The attention of our hosts was amazing! We are definitely going back!
