“Great wine, nice food”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

As a frequent visitor to the Barossa, I've had quite a few visits to Saltrams for wine tastings as well as for lunch, and have enjoyed it on every visit.

Great pizzas and desserts, and some really attentive staff.

I've especially enjoyed the wine tastings, and found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

“Expected more!”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

The wines are wonderful but I must say I was expecting more of the food. I had the salmon which was lukewarm at best and the potato served with it seemed like it was days old. It was a fairly cool day and there were only a handful of people eating there so maybe I just picked a bad day. Desert was nice though.

“Great wines - didn't eat but will next time”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

First of seventeen wineries over 4 days in the Barossa and Adelaide Hills and one of the best. Generous tasting sizes, friendly and helpful staff in a nice environment. not crowded when we went probably helped. Joined their No 1 club as discounts on future purchases seemed better than most for very drinkable wine. Too early for lunch so can't rate as a restaurant just as an enjoyable visit.

“Amazing deserts”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

We tasted some wines at the cellar door but as he driver I stopped way before my partner. then I spotted these amazing deserts in a display cabinet , they where so beautiful and unusual. I tried the chocolate hazelnut one - it was available to eat in with coffee or take away. Delicious! There where no seats left in the restaurant but if the deserts are made by the same chef ill be back yum!

“Fantastic Food and Wine”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

The wine at Saltrams stands on it's own merit, but when paired with their food it is a wonderful experience. Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Lovely roses in the grounds. What more do you need?
